Anchorpoint Counseling Minisry Volunteer and Job Opportunities
Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry is seeking volunteer tutors ages 16 years and older. No experience necessary! This dynamic program enables students in grades K-12 to learn critical study skills and life-long organizational habits. Work one-on-one with students in grades K-12 in primary subject areas. You'll have a wonderful opportunity to mentor and encourage students in need. Sessions are held Monday-Thursday, 4-8 pm. Volunteers may serve one or more hours a week. Training is provided.
Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry is also seeking a part-time therapist (state licensed and HMO credentialed – UPMC, Highmark, United Behavior Health) to work a minimum of 8-10 hours a week. The ideal candidate must be a well rounded team player who is able to provide counseling to youth, adults, couples and families. The candidate must also be willing to participate with the entire clinical staff team to provide creative and dynamic ideas to support our mission to bring hope and understanding in our communities through our Christian Ministry.
